Foundations of Music?
Foundations of Music is an exciting introductory music program designed to introduce young children to the wonderful world of music through personalized, one-on-one lessons! In a fun and supportive environment, students explore the fundamentals of music through interactive activities, games, and hands-on instrument exploration. Students are introduced to piano, ukulele, drums, vocal pitch-matching, and basic music theory.
Foundations of Music provides young musicians with a well-rounded musical foundation while helping them build confidence and a love for music. As students grow, they'll be better prepared to transition into specialized private lessons on the instrument of their choice!

Our Foundations of Music curriculum is designed to provide young learners with a well-balanced introduction to music. Each class includes a mix of activities to keep students engaged while developing essential musical skills.
Instrument Exploration
- Piano – Learn finger placement, simple melodies, and basic rhythm patterns.
- Ukulele – Explore simple chord shapes, strumming patterns, and sing-alongs.
- Drums & Percussion – Develop rhythm skills, hand coordination, and beat-keeping.
- Vocals & Pitch Matching – Practice singing in tune and developing a strong musical ear.
